The Gasserhof is the ideal base for many worthwhile excursions

Sights in the Eggental Valley and surrounding area

Maria Weissenstein
The imposing pilgrimage church - South Tyrol's most important - which can be seen from far and wide. A Baroque church from the 17th century with views of the Schlern, Rosengarten, Latemar and Ortler Group mountains.

Bletterbach Geoparc - South Tyrol's Grand Canyon
8 km-long canyon inside the mountains: The 400 metre-deep gorge near Aldein/Radein is a journey through the history of the earth. Geo-trails, forestry trails, guided hikes and the visitor centre unlock nature's secrets layer by layer.
